Water rights are a core focus of LSCE’s Idaho office. Field Data Collection and Monitoring
LSCE offers field data collection and monitoring services to support water resource evaluation, permitting, and regulatory compliance across a range of programs. Our services include groundwater-level monitoring to track changes in aquifer conditions, water-quality sampling to characterize existing conditions and evaluate compliance with applicable local, state, and federal standards, and surface-water flow measurements to assess stream and river flow rates. Aquifer Characterization
LSCE provides aquifer characterization studies to determine groundwater impacts in order to support water rights actions, infrastructure planning, and water resource decision-making. Groundwater Modeling
Our team of hydrogeologists are well versed in the development of numerical groundwater flow models that are utilized for long-term resource planning. This includes work in the Treasure Valley and basin scale models across the Western United States.
Our services include numerical groundwater flow modeling, peer review of existing models, and analytical evaluations of groundwater–surface water and groundwater–groundwater interactions. We routinely perform drawdown and interference analyses to evaluate the potential effects of groundwater development on aquifer conditions, nearby wells, and connected surface-water systems.
